I purchased just the corset belt with the side ruffles from this set in 3X and I love it! I'm thinking of getting more of the set, like the blouse.

The quality of the two lace types is very nice and well stitched. The cloth for the corset is soft and high quality, and it's lined! The boning is flexible but springs back into shape if you bend it, and the front clasps are part of a metal boning on both sides that will keep it held in place. Great design. The grommets are well done, nothing poking out and very sturdy!

The back with the corset ribbon - you may need a much longer ribbon if you are at the middle to the max end of the waist measurements. They have a very nice long backing cloth behind the corset ribbon area, I would suggest to pin it (since one side is sewn in, and one is loose for easy adjustment) if you're going to be wearing it for any length of time, since it can slip down if you do a lot of movement.

As for sizing, it may have been that my piece was made a lil more generously, but pinning the backing to make it the longest and getting a longer ribbon, mine can go up to 130cm/51 - however you wouldn't be able to breathe or sit down! So I can definitely confirm the 125cm/49 waist size limit is a hard number.

Making it as long as possible also changes the look a bit with the ruffles, they'll sit on your hips and around front, not at your back. This can be very good if you are a person who likes big back bows, or a big train (which is also available) or bustle, backpack, wings, etc. The corset lays flat against your back when it is longer, which also is comfortable because that part doesn't have boning and won't poke you in the back!
